Connecting your new karaoke player to your TV for the first time can be an exciting experience and we will give you some tips to get you started.
The first thing you should do is read the instruction manual provided by the manufacturer of your karaoke player. Most karaoke players will come with a setup guide and many contain pictures and diagrams that can help you connect your karaoke player to your TV or home theater system.
CONNECTING A KARAOKE PLAYER TO YOUR TV
The most common way to connect your karaoke player to the TV is by using an RCA cable. The RCA cable usually consists of red, white, and yellow plugs. Connect one end of the yellow plug into the video output on the karaoke machine and the other end of the yellow plug into the RCA video input on your TV. The red and white plugs are for the audio. Typically red is the right audio and white is the left audio. You will have a red and white plug at each end just like the yellow plugs. Plug the red and white plugs at the same end as the yellow plug RCA into your karaoke player RCA audio output and the other end into your TV RCA audio input. Your karaoke player should now be connected to your TV correctly.
If your karaoke player uses HDMI to connect to your TV. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your karaoke player HDMI output and the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV HDMI input. You will now be ready to enjoy your karaoke machine using your TV. You will need to make sure your TV is in the correct channel (also known as program, source, or input) so you can see and hear what is happening on your karaoke player but because every TV model is different we can only advise you to read your TV instruction manual for assistance with this.
